A warm hello from all of us at Project FLIP and to all Malaysians, Salam Satu Malaysia.
Firstly, on behalf of Project FLIP, we want to sincerely apologise for going MIA over the last couple of months. We were focused on our university commitments and now that we're on a semester break, we're back in action !
Before providing an update on Project FLIP's next event, we want to take this opportunity to reiterate why we're doing what we're doing and our cause for us organising these fund-raising events. The main purpose of us coming together as a group is to help you help others. Every day we are exposed with news from the media of catastrophic natural disasters taking away lives, children living in dire conditions and deadly diseases affecting people as a result of these disasters and we realize that there are always people who are not as fortunate and are in desperate need of a helping hand. Although media attention on natural disasters that have occurred over the last year or so have lessened, these people who have been affected still very much need our help. It is important to understand that it is often the poor who suffer the most from these disasters losing all sources of income and the roof on top of their heads. Project FLIP members are committed to try to raise funds for these people without taking a single cent of any profit made.
That being said, Project FLIP is proud to announce that our second event is in the works and we have a confirmed venue and date for the next event. We will be needing a handful of volunteers for this event and we guarantee a good time for all volunteers working for this event. If anyone is interested, do contact any one of the members of the FLIP team as listed in this blog.
As for now, the basic details of the coming event is available on our facebook page and full details will be released in the coming week or so once we nail down a few minor issues. On a final note, we thank you for your patience with us and we hope you're looking forward to our next event because we definitely are!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Voice your Choice !
Project FLIP is proud to announce the launch of the video directed by Mr. Fazil Fuad; a really good friend of ours and one of the founders of the group behind Project FLIP, Team Hytone.
Fazil worked with Project EPIC of the GEL Team to direct a brilliantly shot and powerful video on Project EPIC's latest project: Voice your Choice
Voice your choice is a Malaysian nationwide campaign to inspire the youth of our generation to stand up and be counted for by registering to be voters.
Team Hytone has been affiliated with the GEL Team since February 2010 and Team Hytone's Project FLIP is fully behind and supportive of Project EPIC in all their endeavours and we hope that you would too.
This is 'Voices'. Directed by Fazil Fuad

“In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe." (Michael Jackson)
We believe we can change the way the nation is shaped tomorrow. Do you?

The Beatles Unplugged Income Statement & Summary
First and foremost, many thanks from Team Hytone to everyone who came and support our first official charity event, “The Beatles Unplugged”. It was most surprising and delightful to see the amount of people that turned up and stayed for the show. We do hope that everyone enjoyed last night’s event and will support other up-coming events.
Last night’s event was a success, with approximately 390 people attending. With that, Team Hytone managed to raise AUD$ xxxx where all profits will be addressed to World Vision Malaysia. Just this event, that’s almost RM$XXXXX, attached to this, an income statement is produced by Mun Fye Chang and Wei-Xiang Teoh of the Finance Division of Team Hytone. Supporting this document will be the Project F.L.I.P bank account statement which will be published quarterly on http://forloveinpeople.blogspot.com.
The Finance Division is in charge of preparing basic journal entries and also overseeing the financial reporting process to guarantee the full transparency and integrity of these statements. The Finance Division also has rigid systems and protocols in placed to ensure the effectiveness of internal control. For example, cash outflows from Project F.L.I.P. can only be done via cheque or the presence of both Mun Fye Chang and Wei-Xiang Teoh where both of these outflows require both our signatures.
As most of you would know, there is a Project F.L.I.P. group page on Facebook and we would love for everyone to be a part of it. An alternative would be to drop us an email at forloveinpeople@gmail.com. So, do share your ideas, drop us an email, and Team Hytone will try our best to make it happen.
